Marquee

Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 July 2026

Marquee is built to collect nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

What we collect

Nothing. Marquee has no user accounts and no backend server that we operate. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you.

Your library stays yours

The titles you track, your episode progress, ratings, and notes are stored on your device. If you're signed into iCloud, this data syncs across your own Apple devices using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) private database. It is stored in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it.

Content providers

To show search results, artwork, and details, Marquee requests information from two third-party services:

These are read-only content lookups. Marquee does not send your identity or your tracked library to them; a request necessarily includes your device's IP address and the search text, as with any web request. We do not share data with them beyond what a request requires.

No tracking or ads

Marquee contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. It does not use the Advertising Identifier and never asks to track you across apps.

Permissions

Marquee requests no special permissions (no camera, location, contacts, or notifications required to use it).

Children

Marquee is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
